Beauty by Doctor no longer offers liposculpture. However, patients seeking treatment for localised fat concerns and body contour irregularities may still benefit from a consultation to discuss alternative treatment options. Depending on the area being treated, the degree of fat excess, skin quality, and the desired outcome, options may include Evolve X, Morpheus8, BodyTite, or LipoDissolve.

    What Was Liposculpture?
Liposculpture is a liposuction-based body contouring procedure designed to remove localised fat deposits and reshape selected areas of the body. It differs from general liposuction in that the focus is not only on fat removal, but also on contour refinement. This type of procedure was commonly used for areas such as the abdomen, thighs, hips, buttocks, and arms.

Who May Have Been Suitable for Liposculpture?
Liposculpture was generally considered for adults in good overall health who had localised areas of fat that had not responded to diet and exercise. Suitability for any body contouring procedure depends on individual clinical assessment, including skin laxity, fat distribution, medical history, and treatment goals.

    Potential Benefits of Liposculpture
Liposculpture was used to reduce fat in selected areas and refine body contours. Depending on the area treated and the technique used, it may have assisted with improved definition in specific parts of the body. As with all procedures, outcomes varied between individuals.

    How the Procedure Was Performed
The procedure typically involved infiltration of a tumescent solution into the treatment area to assist with local anaesthesia and fat removal. Conscious IV sedation may also have been used where appropriate. Small incisions were then made to allow insertion of a fine cannula, which was used to remove fat and contour the area being treated.

    Recovery and Expected Outcome
Following liposculpture, small incision marks were usually present and generally became less noticeable over time. Swelling and bruising were expected during the recovery period. Early changes in contour may have been seen once swelling started to settle, with further changes developing over the following weeks to months. Recovery time varied depending on the area treated and the extent of the procedure. Some patients were able to return to usual activities within about a week, while others required longer.

    Cost
When Beauty by Doctor offered liposculpture, costs generally ranged from $3,300 to $11,000, depending on the treatment area and procedural complexity.
Due to recent regulatory changes, Beauty By Doctor no longer offers liposculpture. However, we provide several alternative body contouring treatments, including Morpheus8, BodyTite, EvolveX, and LipoDissolve, that can deliver similar results with less invasiveness and shorter recovery times.

Alternative Treatments at Beauty by Doctor
Although liposculpture is no longer available at Beauty by Doctor, we offer other body contouring treatments that may be appropriate for selected patients. Morpheus8 may be considered where skin tightening and contour refinement are the primary concerns. BodyTite may be suitable in cases where fat reduction and tissue contraction are being assessed together. LipoDissolve may also be discussed for selected smaller areas of localised fat. EvolveX may be considered as a non-invasive option that combines radiofrequency and muscle stimulation technologies to assist with body contouring, depending on the area and individual treatment goals.
A consultation allows your clinician to assess your concerns and discuss which treatment options may be appropriate based on your anatomy, skin quality, and overall treatment goals.

Suitability for treatment is determined during consultation. All medical and cosmetic procedures carry risks, and outcomes vary between individuals. While complications are uncommon, it is important that potential risks, including rare adverse events, are understood.
