UltraClear or CO2 Fractional Laser: We will work with you to choose the laser that best suits your needs and goals.
UltraClear utilises cool fractionally ablative laser that can be used in a variety of skin types, from pale to darker types 4 and 5 Fitzpatrick. As there is less heat delivered there is a reduced hyperpigmentation risk and there is less downtime. This is a fairly new technology so can be expensive and is not widely available.
CO2 Fractional Laser is a well recognised technology, that has been around for decades. It is reliable and known to deliver fantastic results and is widely available. Both lasers effectively address fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, and uneven texture.
LED Healite: LED Healite sessions in the days following your treatment. These sessions help soothe the skin, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing for optimal results.
What to Expect
Procedure Time: Approximately 45 minutes for the initial laser and peel.
Discomfort: It varies depending on the laser choice and individual tolerance. Topical numbing gel and other options, such as Happy Gas or Green Whistle, are available to ensure your comfort.
Downtime: 3-7 days of redness, swelling, and peeling is typical depending on the level chosen. This is why it's called the "Long Weekend Laser"!
